any of you know if i can use bannerbomb to install; HBC & back up loader on firmwares 3.4U-3.3U? and can it also work on 3.4U lu64 wii's?

lol i didnt even look at my code and just used bannerbomb and everything else assuming nothing lol. But in the end everything worked out fine.

Go HERE to install homebrew on any Wii (except for LU64/LU65).

Go HERE for 3.4 LU64 Hack (this is not official so be warned). Also do not do this if you have a LU64 4.0 or LU65 system.

thanks Larrylie for the info your a big help. one last question after i install homebrew channel on a 4.0U unit thats not lu64 can i downgrade it using ios downgrader/cios downgrader? and if i also install the Lu64 fix on the 3.4U can i also downgrade it w/HBC? thanks for your time & help.

IOS Downgrader downgrades and patches IOS for Trucha signed backups.

So yes it is safe to run IOS Downgrader.

There is no need to downgrade the system menu firmware itself.

As for the 3.4 LU64 do not downgrade anything at all or you will brick the system. Just follow the read me file that comes in the above linked guide and do not install any other cIOS or attempt to downgrade.

you mean if i use the LU64 fix on my unit can it play trucha signed games even w/o usong the ios downgrader or do i still need need to run it to be able to play trucha signed disc?

Can you read at all?

DO NOT USE ANY DOWNGRADERS ON LU64 SYSTEMS OR IT WILL BRICK!

Just follow the steps for the fixed guide and leave it at that. You will not be able to play turcha signed disc on LU64 systems.
