BenQ Not Recognised In JF - urgent help please

im using the latest JF trying to flash my BenQ drive, i have it connected to my computer via SATA, ive followed the guide and jungle flasher doesnt recognise it.
any help appreiceated quickly

vendor : SATA
Name : DVD-ROM
F/W : 6243
reserved : 0C

help please, ive just reflashed my hitachi to check if it was jungle flasher or other componants and it flsahed fine, any help???

Calm down dude
did you delete the drivers for your sata card? so, it will allow the portIO32to read your 360 drive?

i cant calm down, lol :p
its an onboard sata card, and it worked for my hitachi as i said before, any help??

did you try all options in the drop down box in JF? sometimes it will read from a different drive... is it benq lite on?

tryed them all, it shows my hard drive and my LITEON DVDRW and what i said before as it moves from a different port wen i plug it into a different port. if that makes sense

i couldn't get JF to see my benq at all

did u uncheck VIA Only check box in the second tab, cus thats how i got my hitachi to show up

Hey
I had the same issue. I flashed it using jungle flasher and it worked fine. It didn't say Benq but it was the Benq drive.

Yeah, the 62430 firmware revision will be recognized like that.

i had the exact same problem - posted here several months ago but it couldnt be resolved.
A couple of weeks after the website i bought the sata card from contacted me to say he had had a batch of bad cards to send him the model and version no.
Turned out i had a dodgy card - he sent a replacement and worked first time

its not the sata card as i have also have a 360 with a hitachi drive an it flashed that fine, but thanks 4 your input i will think about a new one anyways, just incase
