I'm trying to play UFC Undisputed, its a 3rd wave game. It comes up as a dvd disk and my 360 won't play it.

How should I go about updating my 1.4 iExtreme Firmware (hitachi-lg)?

download jungle flasher, and 1.51 hitachi firmware pack from xbins, place the firmware files inside the folder called "firmware" in the jungle flasher folder.

connect your drive via SATA open jungle flasher, click on the hitachi tab at the top, select the correct port for your drive, drive model and send mode b, do as it says, when it is in mode b, click on restore firmware on the right hand side, and click the big button at the bottom of that list, do as it says.

now chech the flash ixtreme and click the same button.

there you have it your xbox should now be at ixtreme 1.51.

hmm, never happened to me, but all i can suggest is if you can still see the drive in jungle flasher, try again, make sure you have .net 2.0 framework to let jungle flasher work properly
