i have a Benq drive, that will be flashing.

before i flash it, i would like to know if later im able to RESTORE the xbox 360 to ORIGINAL settings or firmware so that the xbox 360 is no longer modded. if so, what do i need to do? do i back up the original firmware? some key numbers? if so, please tell me step by step on how to back up all this stuff or whatever needs to be backup.

any info is appreciated

Yes, you need to backup your firmware. And yes, by putting the original firmware back on your drive, it will no longer be able to play backups.

Once you dump your firmware when flashing, save it in as many places as possible. Put it on a flash drive, a SD card, your harddrive in a couple places, burn it to a CD, upload it to a website. E-mail it to a friend, anything you can do to get it in as many places as possible so that no matter what you can retrieve it.

But, if you do in fact lose it, you can use the key that will be on the drive, download some original firmware for your drive, which can be found all over the internet, just google it, and spoof it with your key.

There are no real steps, just save it and keep up with it. When you want to revert to original firmware, just flash it back to the drive.

okay, i just googled "how to back up xbox 360 original firmware" and i only got results on backing up games.

can you guys tell me how to back up the firmware (orignal) so i can
use it later to flash my drive to ORIGNAL unmodify state.
