Okay...I've installed the Homebrew channel and the Backup loader on my Wii. Check.
Now I'm trying to format my 500 gb hard drive for ripping/loading Wii games. So I downloaded the WBFS manager to begin this, but I can't even install it because it needs the Microsoft .NET framework 3.5 SP1 for some stupid reason.
I go to install the .NET framework 3.5 SP1 exe from Microsofts site, and it refuses to install. It makes it to the part where it says "Download completed. You can disconnect from the internet now", trys to install, stops, then it give me an error.
I have the regular .NET framework 3.5 on 32 bit Windows XP. I've tried uninstalling regular 3.5, then rebooting, and yet again installing 3.5 SP1, but it still does the exact same thing.
Do I HAVE to use the WBFS manager to format my external drive? Please tell me there's an alternative, some other way to do this.
Or maybe the WBFS manager only runs on Vista. I have no idea what to do.
