fergus i got box from uk already flashed on friday just plug in scanned and all channels working perfectly.

thats funny as they have been all sold out for weeks so must be a second hand box i would say as thats the only way you could have got it did you get it from a supplier ??

hi ya fergusrb, sorry iwas out today catching som rays, ihad a star view 3 and a eurovox, but what puzzles me is why did it work perfect from march up till the 22 of may and scramble ,if it was freqencywould it not affect others,

its not a freq change they changed the way they are encrypting the channels so it took a while to get it all sorted they just cant change everything just like that as they have to make sure there own boxes work as well

fergus there seems to be a mix up between us the box i got last week was itgate works fine, i could'nt wait any longer for the other but will buy one in the future,so hopeing they all run a while longer.

right im with you now ya had me lost all right but good stuff at least your sorted now

hello fergusrb, i downloaded the firmware with sucsess but now when i scan on factoy default i get 6 tp,s already exist but i dont get the drop down menu for legasy or upc and no chnnls coming in itryed every point in the hse and my starview and eurvox are working with whats left so im getting a signal ok?

download the tutorial on channels on the bottom click the link and that will show you what you need to do
you are changing something thats why you are not getting it

ok i go into install go down to factory default 0000 auto search , nxt as provider chnnls as network, press green button for search i get 0/7 then sig strenth from 60 to 75 and no listings somtimes i get six or 7 cnnnls market a s tv123456 complete and exit

ok do this first factory default 0000 press ok and then the box will go back to factory settings
turn the box off at the back then you can then turn it back on the next screen you get should be easy installation
go to bottom option auto scan
next screen you on ntl SO JUST PRESS THE GREEN BUTTON ONLY
next screen you should get the choice to pick your legacy channels
MAKE SURE WHEN YOU ARE DOING THIS YOU ARE USING THE MAIN CABLE AND NO SPLITTERS ON YOUR INCOMING CABLE

jeesus fergusrb thought i was goin off me loaf, after trying everything u told me to do nothing would work always the same old story , zilch. today i stoppet an xxx tech and got a cable off him my dog ate the otherone, still no joy so i gav it a tap or 2 and hey whatya know got my legasy on scan, but no chnnls tap lightly once more and up they came crystal clear, so what dya think somthink loose in side maybe, i afraid to touch its actualy upside down now as im watching it. what a mind blower.
