How can I capture a DVD that's encrypted with a Green screen in my video editing program? My ultimate goal is to simply capture a 20 second clip of the movie and edit it in my video editing program.
I have the DVD X Copy Software, it made a copy of the movie but when I tried to capture scenes in the video editing progranm a green screen appeared leading me to believe that the movie was still encrypted. How do I overcome this program.
I downloaded Shrink and I was able to grab the video without the green screen. (YEAH) but, there is no audio. First, Shrink made me save the movie to a folder. When I imported the movie into WinDVD Creator, there was no sound. Is there a way to capture sound along with the video? I also want to have the option for close captioning, is that possible? And lastly, will Shrink allow me to capture any scene I want?
I am trying to Capture Video and Constantly see a Green Screen.
Can you please explain each step to doing ALL of these, thank you guys!!!!
1 - try switching off Video Overlay
2 - Use a VOB/DVD editing/authoring package
3 - Use Shrink/DVDStripper/Titleset Blanker
4 - use IFOEdit to strip the clip you want.
I am a newbie to all of this and have tried on my own to find the above suggestions and have come up blank.
Please help.
