Strange message while restoring Hitachi 47 back to OFW

I get a strange message while trying to restore my flashed hitachi 47 back to the original firmware. After dumping iXtreme 1.51 it seems fine. I get up to the third part of the JungleFlasher Tutorial, the part that's actually labeled "Restoring a flashed drive." I go to click "Restore to Stock" after checking "Restore Firmware" and "Mode Select" I get a message that says "master checksum is not set, this is not normal for a modded drive. drive is not likely hacked." I've already dumped the drive so I'm guessing this means the drive is back to stock? I have to send the 360 back into Microsoft for repairs so I need this done before it goes. Any help is greatly appreciated.

dont worry about restoring the drive to send it back to MS. i personally have sent in a flashed console and got it fixed, as have many many other people.

Ugh, I put the OFW back into JF and flashed it succesfully. Everything went according to the JF tutorial. I plugged my 360 into my t.v. to see if it would power and what not. The power light is now flashing and the tray wont open... Did I just brick it? :(

the power light on the console, or the power brick? if its the console, then i believe it means that it doesnt have any firmware on it. is it giving you any error codes on the tv when its turned on such as e65 or something like that?

if not, have a read through this thread, it might solve your problem, not sure though as i think its dealing with a samsung drive, but the problem should be the same.

That did help me... Thank you Wabashman. I wish I could give you some type of Afterdawn credit or something. I don't think this is the first time you've helped me with a problem I've had on these forums. My xbox is now flashed back to stock and ready to ship to MS.

lol, if I had paypal credit to give I'd probably just buy another 360. I'll make sure to post results here. Hopefully I can get the 360 back in a timely manner.
