is there a way to flash without reading from the FW on the drive first

i believe there is no FW on my benq and every method of flashing reads the FW then hacks it to ixtreme or whatever, but i already have a hacked FW

what i would like to know is, can i flash the hacked FW i already have, straight to my benq drive without reading what is on the drive first

i have tried
1. iprep, says "firmware wrong size" when its 256kb ??????
2. JF, cannot find my drive ???????
3. mod disc 1.53, flashed successfully but did not stop E64 ????
4. usb mod disc 1.60 was totaly unsuccessful

i am all ears to any help or advice, thank you

So wait does your drive have a hacked firmware on it already? Because if there is one, you just overwrite it, but ya you will need to read it first! I haven't heard of any methods of modding it without reading it, so ya...
