I bought a SATA card from Newegg HERE and it came with a SATA cable that was longer than the extremely short one used in the 360 and i just hooked one end of the wire into the SATA port on the card and the other end into the 360's dvd drive and used the 360 to power the drive.

because its already flashed you should be able to use the latest jungleflasher to extract the key... without a connectivity kit...

read the guides in the ultimate sticky!!!
after you have read them a couple times and have some base knowledge of what is going on come back and ask specific questions.

If it already has ix1.51 on it, all you need to do is dump the firmware, spoof the info to ix1.6, and flash. Jungle Flasher is a great tutorial and it will help you get the job done.

for the unmodded console, if its a lite-on then you will need the ck3 and probe attachment, unless you want to make your own, or do some soldering on the drive.
Come talk with us on efnet at #elitemods !!! or just click ME
ALSO, DO NOT SEND ME MESSAGES ON LIVE REGARDING MODDING CONSOLES, OR HOW I PLAYED A CERTAIN GAME EARLY. I WILL NOT RESPOND. I WILL INSTEAD DELETE YOUR MESSAGE, AND BLOCK ALL COMMUNICATION FROM YOU. JUST SEND ME A PM ON HERE.

Yes that S-ATA cord should work and I can see the VIA chipset in your computer so your onboard S-ATA should work.

you will need another sata cord though, otherwise you wont be able to run windows while your flashing your console.
