Starview 1 box and prog info on channels

I know it's a small issue but is there any way to get info on the prog listing on the channels.For example usually at the bottom when you switch toa channel it'll tell you what the prog is and when it starts/finishes and whats on next.However i get none of this.Is this normal or is there a way to get this info coming up?.Sorry for nobby question but i'm a newbie to all this :D.

you prob have your aspect ratio on your tv set to big if so you wont be able to see the end banner check the settings should be 16.9 or 4.3

I can actually see the banner fine it's just that there's no prog information listed on most of the channels.
