hi all i flashed my old drive Benq and done a bad flash and did not back the key up so my 360 is now just a dvd player iv just got a sec hand borad whats got the dvd key with it iv had a look around but geting no way has anyone got any info for me how to spoof this Benq drive with this new mainborad iv got iv done alot of flashers and no abit what im talking about but never had to spoof a drive into a new borad before can anyone help me out with this stupid misstake iv done

What exactly did you do to the BenQ drive that you consider it a "bad flash"?

Depending on your situation, reflashing it might help as the key may still be found on the PCB board.

flashed it with out save the key now all i get for the key is alot of 7777s tryed to flash and re flash but still the same m8

when you say you have the key for this new mainboard... do ya have all the necessary files: key.bin inquiry.bin and identify.bin

if you have the key for the second motherboard, just flash that key (from the second MOBO) to the drive and it should work.

so its just the case ov puting in the new key i have from the sec mainborad and flashing it to my old benq dvd drive but what will be the case if the mainborad i just got hade a different make of drive in it in the frist place (ect liteon) dont no what dvd drive it had

you will just be running a very high risk of the console being banned from xbox live ... there would be no spoof of the DVD information... it would be extremely easy for them to detect that its a modified console...

but after i flash the drive with the key from the borad igot then flash it with ix 1.6 will this still be the case
