Have a wii with D2Pro, and 3.3U installed. Loaded CIOS 36 rev 10, various USB loaders. None will recognize my new Maxtor mini 4, which I see from various places is compatible. I've formatted it using WBFS Manager, but it still doesn't seem to recognize the drive.

I've tried to plug it in before turning the console on, after, during... no matter.

Also tried CIOS 36 rev 9 and USB Loader 1.1, and still nothing. Odd that absolutely none of the loaders work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Did you have the USB device formated to FAT32 before formating it to WBFS?

I had a drive that would not recognize when preformat was NTFS. After formating it FAT32 then WBFS the loader finlay recognized it.

Make sure the partition that your using is a primary partition.

Also make sure your USB cable isn't too long, 2 feet at the longest. I experimented with different cable lengths and found that a longer cable was the difference between being recognized and not recognized.
