Help!!!!!!!!
Strange thing just happened ...
This involved a Wii, a WiiKey, A copied version of Broken Sword and a copied version of Punch Out! - All USA versions.
I had to downgrade my Wii to version 3.1U because I wanted to play Broken Sword and it wasn't working on 3.3U. It required an upgrade once I inserted the CD which I did, and it worked fine.
After that, I felt like playing Punch Out! and inserted that. It asked for an upgrade. I had played it before so didn't think any harm would come from it if I did the upgrade.
I upgraded, the screen went black, I reset it, and now everytime I try to boot up my Wii, nothing displays and the controllers don't connect.
Nothing displays at all, it's like no signal is going out to the screen. The screen stays Blue, which is the colour of my screen when it is getting no signal.
Any ideas???

How could it be a brick, I was playing punchOut successfully yesterday :(. I knew I should have just went into the homebrew channel and upgraded manually. dammit. Right before I downgraded to play Broken Sword, I updated the homebrew channel which included BootMii, but I did manually install it before.

It sounds like the problem is similar to that of some people who have reset their Wii before the upgrade was done...but I was waiting at the black screen for like 5 minutes so it wasn't going any farther than that. My WiiMotes had lost connectivity and just blinked and shut off. Ahh if I have to get another wii that's going to SUCK. There has to be some CD or something out that'll bring it back!!! no?!?! punch out punched out my Wii :(

One thing tho if you do get a new wii put bootmii on it as soon as you plug it in.. lol

I'm reading up something about SaveMii, a system menu iso, and the capability to download something to autoboot it. I am going to try it without SaveMii and hope for a miracle.

lol don't worry I know it's on the right setting for the tv. I didn't touch a thing, it just crapped out. THEN I thought .. hmmm .. maybe it has to do with the component cables and it just wasn't working with HDTV settings now...I already had the Wii red white and yellows plugged in from using them before when I wanted to split/screen my games to watch cable at the same time ... but no dice. Drivin' me nuts here. I love my Wii :(

It sounds like something's loading from this disc (normally it doesn't make a sound after I put a cd in), but nothing is popping up on the screen. I do not like the look of this. I am going to try to autoboot a regular game ISO and see if it'll update from that...

This looks like it might help.
The other thing failed miserably.
