Ive got "The Box " by S***V**w andeverything went here in Cork Thurs night last. Ive re-flashed it twice with v4.57 and the flash is successful but it just wont update. Ive turned it off/on a few times and ive left it overnight on S*y Indie but still not updating.

Ive done two more identical models with the same firmware for family members and no problems with them.

Any ideas?

try it on sky 2 or discovery + 1 press menu 1570 and set default key

EMU already turned on bud but thanks for the reply. Ill try it on s*y two and see if it updates.

if all the channels are gone to N2 the box will not update a it need N1 to update on and if they are no longer broadcasting that well the box is only as good as a free to air box now

It hasnt been rolled out down here yet Fergus. I flashed two other identical units yesterday with the same firmware and had no problems. its just my own unit that wont update.

ok go to the menu 1570 and press the set default key and exit out then and see will it work

which starview is it and give me the API version on it as well

Apologies for not gettin back sooner fergus...been away the last few days. the API is v4.57 and boot version 7.

i think it might be a fault with my box at this stage. Ive set up 3 others since with no problems.

usually i would suggest reflashing with an older software,but i guess you might have a cloned box..are the scarts on the left side or riht when lg from behind the box?

Theyre on the left....its not a cloned box i have

Ok....got it working again. Not too sure what it was exactly that sorted it cause i tried it all before.

Did a factory reset. Scanned channels. Set default key, turned Key EMU on and it updated on S*y two.
