Okay, I have been trying to use it to get my Hitachi 79 drive into Mode B all morning, but it keeps having a fatal error at the same spot. It says that it is checking for USB devices, and then it crashes and says livecd.sgn not found. Does anyone know why this would happen? Thanks in advance.

ive flashed every other type of drive in JF with my maximus Executioner kit,
cant get mode b on theis drive, tried slax,jungle flasher, no avail.
was gonna try re installing the drivers for the via 6421 sata card, see if this helped.

You do need the drivers for via 6421 installed, you only uninstall them for the lite on i think, to stop jf from freezing, have you tried slax 2, works every time for me, also you have to boot xbox about 2 secs after bootin pc to work, when it says spinning up disk press eject on console and it should be in mode b!!
