k stupid question sort of but here it goes anyway :P

Can you update games through Live (just asked for an update to Bionic Commando) with a ripped game?

When you start to boot a game and it asks for an update, you can go ahead and update. To this day, all updates via XBOX Live are known to work with modded consoles. I don't say safe because no one truly knows if they are safe.
