I know a lot of people haven't used it, but I took the chance seeing as I didn't have $50 to spend on the CK3 pro kit.
Got it today, just flashed my Lite-on. Everything went smooth. I had taken my box to a guy that had the CK3 and he had no luck flashing it, kept telling him Serial Data Bad. I hooked it up and everything worked fine. Its quick, easy to use, and free's your hand up as you don't have to click dump dummy.bin as it has a button on it that automatically dumps it(designed for the maximus tool but works with JF as well). All in all, very good product and a good alternative to those that don't want to spend the money on the CK3.
I think the only downside is you have to be tricky when doing the half-open trick. I pulled my power cable loose to where it was just connecting to the drive, then hit eject to close it and pulled the plug the rest of the way out. After that everything was just as easy.
Take a look at your board again. It has an eject button so you don't have to pull power cords. At least mine does. Power switch and eject button. Makes me feel better when doing a drive. I just got mine today as well and plan on getting some good use out of it.
Thats the point, lol. I have the usb extractor, not the CK3 pro kit with probe. There is no board. So I manually have to eject the drive and everything. All the usb extractor does is probe r707 and send the info over usb. Still have to power the drive with the xbox and all.

Not sure where you got this from but all USB extractors I've seen come with a power board with an eject and Power switch, makes it much easier!! The board itself plugs directly into the drives power input, and I'm not 100% convinced that the connector won't break after being used a few times but time will tell!!
Other than that, a great product, as you say 1 button dumping makes it a lot easier!!
