Cioscorp and a modchip

I have a wii (System Menu 4.0) with Cioscorp installed. What will happen if I install a wiikey2 modchip? Will dvd backups run at 6x or will they be stuck at 3x (or less) speed? What about originals? If there will be conflicts between Cioscorp and the wiikey2, can I simply downgrade my firmware and then use the official upgrade package to return to 4.0? Will this remove Cioscorp? I do not have a copy of the original IOS files. If I do downgrade and then upgrade, should I remove anything first (HBC, etc.) and then reinstall after everything is done?
