How do I edit it so that bootmii autoboots to the wii system menu? I've searched but not found any obvious answers. Heres what the INI says..
Quote:
# BootMii config file

# Video mode, possible settings:
# NTSC, PAL50, PAL60, PROGRESSIVE
VIDEO=PAL50

# Autoboot, possible settings:
# SYSMENU, HBC
#AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU

# Autoboot delay, in seconds:
# Default is 5
#BOOTDELAY=5

Any help? Can I copy all the BootMii installation to the computer and put them back on the SD card when or if i ever need to use BootMii? The Nand file takes up 550mb and my SD is only a gig!

Use a text editor to edit the ini file.

In stuff like this a # sign turns stuff off (wow that's probably the least official way I could have said that)

So if your ini is set like that then the only thing that is on is VIDEO=PAL50

If you want the system menu to boot when you turn on your console remove the # sign from in front of AUTOBOOT=SYSMENU

And just a reminder, Bootmii will still come up, it will just go to the system menu after 5 seconds (what you bootdelay is set to). You can change that to however you want, just remember to remove the # from in front of it.

Yes you can copy the folder that Bootmii dropped on your SD card(the one with the ini file, armboot and ppcboot) that is named Bootmii to your PC. Bootmii won't load when this folder is off of your SD card or named to something else.

You can also copy the nand backup to your PC but verify that your PC can read it. I thought that the nand backup was supposed to be 528 MB unless that changed in beta2.

You're welcome. And I'm glad to hear that it worked.

See Bootmii isn't scary.

No it isnt. I installed it on boot2 aswell incase you were wondering. I copied the nand to my computer and deleted it off my sd card. The autoboot works, 5 seconds then straight onto normal wii sysmenu. So the BootMii install went perfectly.
