Purchased a used 360 with no serial numbers. It now has 3 RROD, will Microsoft accept it ?

I purchase a used 360 with no serial numbers it now has the 3 rings of death will microsoft accept my 360? please let me know if not whats my other option

if the case looks tampered with (like serial numbers removed, etc) they won't. even if your warranty sticker is still there.

Guys i paid $50 to get it fix it lasted 3 days i paid another 50 from a specialist that works at gamestop it lasted a week

Buy a new xbox, replace the case of the broken one with the new one. Return it to Microsoft. Get it back, take the "new" case off, put back on the bought 360 and return it to store. Target has 30 day refund policy with reciept. Microsoft doesn't take a month to send back your box if you buy your new 360 same day as you SEND in the old one.

On an off topic, Catsee, I've seen you around here since you were a newbie and all you ever do really is ask questions. It seems every 360 related question you have you post a new thread. I know the moderators have told you many times about thread titles. You've even become a "member" from asking questions. I suppose nothing is wrong with asking questions, but you really do need to learn to search the forums before posting all your threads. And read the rules too. Especially the one about thread titles.

You can also turn the system on and get the serial number off the system info page.. Oh damn, 3ROD. I forgot. Yep, switch-a-roo.

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh crap p2 ur right i found it the console id and serial numbers thanks but im still gonna do the switch a roo if i send it in ms is gonna give me a refurbish 360 with previous problems im gonna get a new 360 from target n switch it

They don't check the MB serial number if it has 3rod. But Im not going to jail for shit. I didn't do anything just told him a WAY to do it. I also said I don't condone retail fraud.

Yeah, I'm sure I'm the only one who EVER posted about swapping 360's... Back when the ban waves happened, everyone posted some fraud story so don't even think you're coming down on me. This sounds good, but wouldn't the software sn not match with case sn number?
Also no sn on case means= stolen property.
