Hey guys, I've been looking around on the net, and I'm unable to find any good information about restoring a benq in JungleFlasher. I've even done my own probing into JF to see if I could rummage a tutorial myself, but have been unsuccessful. Does anyone know how?
Correct. As it's always recommended to restore first, I am trying to do that.
EDIT: I managed to do it. What I did, is I unlocked it, read the firmware and all of that, but when it prompted to see if I would like it to load the ixtreme firmware automatically, I copied my BENQ-OFW.bin into the /firmware directory, then renamed it to the proper file name (if I remember correctly, it was benq-ix6.bin or something). It loaded it, but said that the MD5 failed (for obvious reasons). Then I just proceeded to click "Write." It finished that, so then I clicked "Send Drive Outro" and that worked. Power cycled the drive, my pc everything, and re-read the firmware. Sure enough, it was the original again! So then I proceeded to flash to ix6!
Firmware toolbox and the JF firmware pack all have OG stock firmwares you just Unlock then read firmware then have the target firmware the Stock benq in firmtool and replace your drive key and flash that back to restore.
