I got the lu64 unit .can i upgrade to new version of homebrew? Also is there a faster way of backing up wii games besides dvd dumper? Takes 2 and a 1.2 hours to do. I jsut dont like elaving my system on for that long. Dunno if its breaking it or not.

The read me file says cIOS38_rev12 is LU64 supported. So you should be able to update to that cIOS version.

Do you have a USB flash drive or USB HDD device?

If so you could use a USB Loader to rip the game to a formated WBFS USB device. Then connect it to your PC and use WBFS Manager to extract the game from your USB Device to your PC.

It usually takes 20 or less minutes to rip a game to a USB Device using USB Loader then a few minutes to extract it from the USB device to your PC.

i dont have anything. I jsut got the sd card that goes in the wii(2g) What can i do to do what your talking about? I dont really understand.

Evidently you did the LU64fix that installed a custom IOS since you are using DVD Dumper.

So you can update to cIOS38_rev12.

You can also use a USB Loader that will load games off a USB Hard Drive. I have a 500GB hard drive that I have all my games riped to. All I do is start the USB Loader and choose the game I want to play and it will launch it from the USB hard Drive (no disc is needed).

Do a little research on this stuff. There is plenty of threads at afterdawn and on google that you can read.
