Ok,

Background:
I flashed a Sammy MS25 but failed the verify test in jungleflasher. Before I could retry the flash in Jungle Flasher I accidentally yanked the power cable out of the wall. So now the xbox flashes green as if it was in vendor mode and is unresponsive.

Problem:
I want to re-flash the darn thing but when I plug the drive into the computer, via the chipset, the computer locks up. Im pretty much stuck between a hard place and a rock.

Anyone have any suggestions or solutions??? It would be greatly appreciated!!

Thank you for reading this.

Yup Yup, once the drive gets turned on and connected the pc locks up. It seems like the drive is stuck in vendor mode. When the drive is connected normally to the xbox, the bottom right ring is red. It just keeps blinking green... O_o

If pc locks up, then you didn't deleted teh viamraid.sys file from c:\windows\system32

Disable the card in your device manager, and delete this file. Then re-enable it. Then try jungle flasher.

You may have to hot-swap. Plug in another Sammy drive, get it recognized and then plug the SATA cable to the broken one (while it's turned on) and ten proceed to flash. You may have to do this in dos with the old mtkflash w /m /sata ix16.bin command. Google "hotswap ms25"

Appreciate your help guys, but still no luck O_o

I saw a method on google using MTKFLASH and a bootable usb.

I made a bootable usb using Win98 Dos Files and Hp Disk Storage Format Tool.

The thing boots up and I type the mtkflash w /sata /m orig.bin command and the program is supposed to look for available ports. I only see the two IDE ports that correspond to my HDs.

I am using MTKFLASH 1.83, Win98 Boot Files, via controller card, and alot of zoloft.

Thanks Guys
