So what do you guys think? Anything gets you guys excited? The only one I like is Modern Warfare 2 game play footage, although the two new Halo games look promising. The Motion sensing Natal Project(me and my friends call it the future of Skynet, we are doom!!) has alot of potential, it use your whole body as a controller, hopefully Fight Night 4 use this technology.

I suspect that the EA Sports MMA game will be a better sim than Yukes' UFC game. At least striking wise given their experience with Fight Night. Don't have the full game as of yet but from what I understand, there is no southpaw stance in the UFC game (Cro Cop not being able to do a left high kick is blasphemy) and no head movement. The fighting itself, telling from what I saw in the demo, is somewhat robotic. You could tell that Yukes is inexperienced with creating fighting sims (unless you count pro wrestling.) EA would correct those issues. But ultimately, THQ's UFC series will be more successful because most MMA fans only care about the UFC. If it doesn't have the UFC brand, they won't care if a more polished MMA game comes out. Only the hardcores will appreciate the opportunity to play as Fedor and other names not signed with Zuffa.

you're complaining about head movements? wtf? have you played the ufc game? i have a hard enough time trying to figure out which block to apply in time whether alone move my head. also... i don't know how you could incorporate it into the game.

there's a level of realism that makes sports games no fun cause of your reaction and response. if somebody swings at me in real life i know to move my head instinctly... on a video game it wouldn't process fast enough with all the options of block and movement.

Project Natal looks really fun.
I find it impossible to beat Shogun on Expert the UFC demo, he wins the fight on the ground every damn time.

I'm not saying it's not a fun game. But considering that THQ constantly hyped the simulation credentials of the game, they should be including head movement like the Fight Night games do. Head movement and footwork are very important in striking. If THQ were going for a more arcade-like fun experience, I wouldn't fault them for not including head movement. But arcade-style or not, it reflects poorly on THQ to rush out this game without southpaw stance. They included southpaw in boxing games almost 20 years ago. The game is fun but that doesn't mean game companies shouldn't be called out for rushing out games so that they can milk gamers every year with a new yearly update. And yet companies wonder why piracy is so popular.

Blah...UFC...Blah,.....

Modern Warfare 2 should be good. COD is a good seris, I think this is the 6th title. I have played them all ever since COD1.

Wait for:

Wolfenstein
Saboteour or whatever
GTA Ad-ons on DVD...

What's this new Halo about?
