So I was able to successfully rip Mario Kart Wii over wifi. The iso itself is 4.37 GB. This is obviously bigger than what would fit in a blank DVD. So my question are as follows:
1. Is there a way that I ma suppose to burn this? ( i have nero)
2. Do I have to use DVD-R? I read that DVD+R are no good and I ger a DVD error 324 when I try to launch the game using Wiigator.
I ran into the same issue with Punch Out. I downloaded an ISO and burned the image onto a DVD+R disc and boom same error.

Am I better off using the USB loader rather than wasting discs? I have the USB loader app installed as well. Is it really as simple as putting the Images into a HDD/SD card or USB thumb drive?

4.37 GB is the correct size.

DVD-R is recommended but some have used DVD+R.

Use good quality media like Verbatim or Tayio Yuden.

Use IMGBurn (it is free google it) and burn at 4X or half the rated speed of the media.

If your burner supports booktyping then change the booktype for DVD+R media to DVD-ROM. You can set the booktype in IMGBurn by selecting the book icon at the bottom right hand corner of IMGBurn.

So I tried IMG burn and I burned it at 4x speed and I got the same result. That's 3 disc now that I've wasted.

Also the Wiigator has ios 249. Just thought I'd throw that out there and see if I did something else wrong but it is looking like I need to try and burn it on a DVD-R.
