Problem Using Super DVD creator WMV to DVD

I have unfortunately Edited a 100 min movie done for a member of the family in the 'Windows Movie Maker' which results in a saved format of 'WMA/V'.
After been assured that 'Super DVD Creator 5.0 or 6.0 would do the conversion I find that although the 3 Icons appear on the desk top - Main Movie - m2v - m2a, upon completion of the convert the m2v and m2a Icons vanish and I am left with just the main file as an audio/video (mpeg).
To complete the format to DVD so as to be able to burn, I attempted to use IfoEdit 0.96 program.
However as the m2v and m2a files have gone to the blueyonder somewhere I cannot proceed with the format.
Furthermore what was a 1.47 GB file in WMV is now 7.5 GB, I can only presume it has saved the sound track in a WAV format or something for it to be so large.

I know now that although Bill Gates has been shoving the new Movie Maker I should have edited in a more sensible and far better program. But you live and learn.

After 30+ hours of editing and 3 attempts totalling 20+ hours trying to convert to DVD I am now as frustrated as you can possibly be, so any help, advice, suggestions how I can get this sorted would be much appreciated.
