update original wii music or not?

Hi, I have wiikey installed and I live in Greece so I use a PAL version. I recently bought an original wii music disc. As you all know it prompted me with the update question and warned me that if there is an unauthorized hardware installed the wii may stop working.
The wii music disc is the correct region should I take the risk or not?
