e74 error again

hi

My friend just fix my xbox 360 E 74 error by doing the 8 penny trick. It work for a while then I started to noticed the screen display a bunch of line and square dot while my kid was playing halo 3. Then after a day or so the E 74 error is back again.

Does anyone have any idea on how to fix it again or is the video card dead from the heat?
