Starview 4 keeps restarting

Hi, My problem is i bught a SV4 USB and when I first got it i turned it on and 8888 came up then 8882 then a green screen and then went off and started again. I left it for 5 minutes then it came up with language so i so set it up as normal. Now 2 weeks later my box is randomly turning itsels off snd restarting 3 or 4 times before coming back on. Ive reflashed it but it hasnt helped,im on the 1.07 firmware and in the uk.

try putting the latest file the 1.09 on it and see will that cure the problem sometimes taking the 2 pin plug off and replace with 3 pin works

also make sure the box is well ventilated and noting is placed on top of the box as this will cause this problem as well

fergie is right...an adapter should solve the prob...and keep away from the radiator etc

I used my old adapter off my old starview and it seems to restart whenever it wants but usually more in the evening. I tried using a different 2 to 3 pin converter and it wouldn't even come on it just kept restarting till i turned it off at the back. Do you think actually cutting the 2 pin plug off and replacing it with a 3 pin would work?
