Ok im gettin a bit annoyed here lol. I have a 360 mod and burning Guitar Hero Metallica on img burn. After all that it says copy completed. Ive been to numerous sites everyone talkin bout a new firmware. I not sure of what mod i have most games work. I just cant get guitar hero metallica to work after copying it on img burn. I need help please and thanks i dont wantta go all around downloading software and trying to get this new update so i can get a good copy of guitar hero metallica. I use dvd+r the dual layer disk i just cant keep wasting disks lol. Is there a update that i can update to img burn to succsssfully burn guitar hero metallica becasue Im A big gutiar hero fan. I hope that in a week and a half a way I wont run into the same problem with guitar hero smash hits. I need help please and thanks. my xbox reads play this dvd. It dosnt say play game like it normally does.

then obviously your fw isnt able to play 3rd wave games. update to 1.6 or 1.51 if you have a hitachi.

I think i have samsung. I didnt mod my 360 lol so what should i download to update in img burn to get a sucssful burned copy?

The copy is successful. It's just that your 360 is using older modified firmware that can't play the newer wave 3 games. That's what it sounds like anyway. If it is that, you'll need to do as uturn68 said and get the console flashed to the latest iXtreme.

you need to mod it dude. Won't read any backups without that done. Flash the firmware to 1.6 and it will work.

yeah sorry lol. This sucks the guy who modded my 360 is in chicago. One of my friends tells me that my firmware is like 1.4 and i need 1.6 i guess. I was told by him that is very dangerous trying to update yourself if you didnt mod the first time. I have a neighbor who mods Wii's. I think he mentioned about modding 360's as well so i hope he can help i dont wantta ruin my machine.

hey u can use a program to patch your wave 3 iso to a wave 2 so you can still run it on the 1.4 firmware... my xbox has the BenQ drive with 1.4 ixtreme, an alot of the new games ive had to use the patcher
