Looking for external HDD compatability list

Hey guys, I've searched high and low and I can't seem to find a running list of compatible external HDDs that would 100% work with USB Loader GX. I'm looking to get maybe 500GB or 1TB for Wii games and DSLR photos. So far I've found 3 compatible drives, but I would like to explore more options (cheaper ones).

Here are the 3 that I found:
- AcomData PureDrive 500 GB USB 2.0/eSATA External Hard Drive PHD500USE-72
- AcomData PureDrive 1 TB USB 2.0/eSATA External Hard Drive PHD10000USE-72
- Western Digital My Book Essential Edition 1 TB USB 2.0 External Hard Drive WDH1U10000N

Non-compatible:
- Seagate FreeAgent

Be aware of spin down issues.
Also I wouldn't take any compatibility list like this as 100% fact. Continue to do research even after you see one that you think is good for you.

I use a Maxtor OneTouch 4 500GB and have had no issues with USB Loader GX.

WD scorpio black 320gig and vantec nexstar cx enclosure. only one usb cable needed, and no spindown.

you could try the 500gig scorpio blue with the enclosure.
