hi , i have a friends xbox and it boots ok but when you tri to read the memory it sits there then stutters then sits there then comes up with service required code 21 .

it also seem to take some time from x box start screen before moves to next screen . me newbie help .

21 - anywhere - Typically means you're missing .xip files on your c: drive, or you have .xip's from a different (wrong) dashboard version. To fix simply restore a complete backup of the c: drive.
