wii not booting into menu please help

i was using the softmod on a friends wii i installed it all fine but i think i missed sumthing because the wii whouldent play a backup so i went through it again and then the wii froze on me.

now when i turn on my wii i get and error but it all garbled up from what i see i think it says

the _y_tem Tile_ are corrupt.
please ???? to the wii ??? for trouble shooting

is it fully briked? man my friends gonns be pissed if it is.
