That's good to hear.
USB Loader GX is still based on the Waninkoko original but it has a bunch of features.
Takes a while to go through everything.
You can also use themes. I have tried it out but I haven't really found one that I really want to keep so I am currently using the default.
You can see/get them here: http://wii.spiffy360.com/index.php

You can save covers and discs to your SD card.
People have uploaded packs with a whole bunch of covers in them. There are also a lot at this site: http://www.theotherzone.com/wii/
There were some that I had that I couldn't find at the site so I scanned the actual disc using a scanner.
Not sure if the size of box art still has to be 160x224 but it was at one point. It caused a lot of people confusion because many of the box arts are sized to 160x225.
I don't remember exactly where they need to be saved (I'm not by my Wii right now) but I'm pretty sure you can find it at one of those USB Loader GX sites.
I'm pretty sure at least that there has to be a folder called images in the root of your SD card.

There is http://wadder.net/forums/viewtopic.php?f=33&t=487
Actually they have a bunch of channels at wadder.net
This channel specifically has quite a bit "going on"
Almost too much actually http://s614.photobucket.com/albums/tt223...nt=MOV00009.flv
But that's the one that I use.
Occasionally when I click on another channel and then switched to this forwarder channel it has given me a system files are corrupt message.
It's a false alarm but you better believe that it scarred me the first time I saw it.
I think it has something to do with the sound of the channel being a little bit more than the Wii can handle.
"Now it's like huh? the system files are corrupt? My Wii, haven't you played that trick before? What else is new... yawn... reset..."
And then everything is back to normal
Just a warning in case you decide to use it.
If you're installing wads you might want to look into bootmii.
But yeah, I'm sure there are more channels out there I just haven't put enough time into searching for them.

If you want to auto download covers and disc images for USB Loader GX then all you need to do is click on the cover art box (make sure your not in carousel mode). This will bring up the option to download normal covers, 3-D covers and Disc covers (in order to get this option you need to unlock the USB Loader GX. The default password is ab121b).

Thanks aMatthews and larrylje. The Mplayer Channel looks awesome but it still needs a boot.dol on the sd card, im guessing theres no way to get passed that.

Wow, I forgot about auto downloading covers.
Probably because I was turned off to the custom discs. And also sometimes getting covers from different regions. But doing it that way is definitely more convenient.
If you don't to use the forwarder that loads the dol from the SD card
You can use the actual channel.

This one is based on revision 447 however.

Forwarders ask for dols because they just load the boot.dol from the sd card.
It's so you don't have to uninstall and reinstall a new version every time a new version comes out.

Wadder.net has some
But is there a reason why you don't want to use the forwarder?
And you do have a backup plan in case something scary happens right?

Also channels do take up space on the Wii. I'm willing to bet that even if your SD card isn't that big it still has more space than your Wii does.
Check out channels in the data management section of the system settings.
I like the channel I have for Wii Radio. Wadder is actually where I found it but it's a forwarder.
Same with SNES9XGX
I don't know how I feel about telling people to use wads that I haven't tried myself. It "should" work may not be good enough.
As for Bootmii it can either be installed as boot2 or as an IOS.
As boot2 is much better unfortunately not all Wiis can install it as boot2.
It allows you to back up your Wii so you can recover from bricks and stuff... and I feel like I'm doing a terrible job explaining this already so go to http://bootmii.org/ it will do a much better job.

Restoring the system is one of it's features. A pretty valuable feature actually.
That's pretty much the sum of what it does right now (you can also directly enter the homebrew channel without going through the system menu).
But its main purpose is suppose to be as a platform for new homebrew that fully uses the Wii's hardware (such as a custom system menu)
Check out the about section http://bootmii.org/about/
As for Wii Radio, it's stations are pretty set.
If you want something like that then you're better off using MPlayer and manually adding which ever stations you want from some where such as http://shoutcast.com/
They have to be added to MPlayer's Menu conf file.
