Yes, you can copy it from your SD card to your computer.

Maybe even burn it on a cd and have it two places. Or maybe not... just a suggestion.

This also happened to me.

Format it with your computer first before doing anything with Bootmii and then try again.

And I forgot to ask. So Bootmii installed as boot2 for you?

Well if you can you might want to consider installing it as boot2.

If you run bootmii from your sd card using the homebrew channel then you wouldn't be able to get to it if you get a brick that prevents you from reaching the system menu.
Or even worse if the system menu is gone.
Not that I think you will brick your Wii but you know sometimes stuff just happens.

I don't think I'll brick my Wii but I just like to have the extra protection.
I certainly don't want to buy another Wii.
And even if I did, to deal with the new protection Nintendo is likely putting in place? I'll pass.

Yeah it saves to the sd card.
There should be a folder in the root of your sd card called Bootmii.

Does Bootmii load when you turn your Wii on?

If it does then you installed it.

If you don't want it coming up every time you turn your Wii on you can:
1. Rename the Bootmii folder to something else and then change it back when you want to use it again
2.Just take the sd card out or even have your bootmii files on a separate sd card.
3. You can edit the (I believe it's bootmii.ini file) in that Bootmii folder with a text editor and change where it says to SYSMENU or something like that. It's in some instructions somewhere. And you also have to remove the # sign from in front.

With number 3, Bootmii will still come up for 5 seconds before the System Menu launches. You can change this 5 seconds to how many seconds you want in the same bootmii file.

Nintendo 64 and PlayStation emulators are being worked on.
There are early pre release versions here and there but you can't do much with them.

Bushido Blade actually works pretty well with the PlayStation emulator.

There is SDLMame but probably isn't worth it to try to do anything with it right now although some people have gotten stuff running.

Edit: Actually you might want to check into it. Maybe it's made some progress since the last time I checked.

I'm a bit confused by what you said.
:)
Which places are you going to try?
You never installed bootmii before and it was already doing what?
What is it not doing anymore?
You haven't really tried what?

Please don't tell me bootmii was already loading before you installed it. That would just be... well, scary.
Or maybe you are saying that you only installed bootmii as an IOS and not as boot2 and it was already loading as soon as your turned your Wii on?
Or maybe not, I don't think it's capable of doing that.
I think I better just get what you're are saying straight from you.

Yeah, your pretty much right. I never installed boot mii and usually every time i had a sd card in my wii it would boot up when i restarted. But now, since i installed boot mii myself, it doesnt load up anymore. Its really wierd.

Umm, that sounds pretty weird. I don't think it's supposed to be like that.

It should load when you turn your Wii on unless you take the card out or change the settings.
