hi

i have 2 xbox 360's, xbox 360 1(master) and xbox 360 2(backup),

the master I DO NOT want it to get banned, the backup i dont mind as it is only for playing backup copies.

now my questions is as follows:

my harddrive is in my master with my main account on it, i dont want to play copies on my master because i dont want it to get banned from live,

soooo

what if i unplugged my hdd from the master and plugged it into my backup xbox to play copied games, and then later plugged it back into my master xbox to play originals, would my master xbox get banned?

i havnt actually played copies on my master xbox BUT the account would say i have.

so again would my master xbox get banned or just the backup xbox in which the backups have actually been played on?

do you understand what i mean?

can anyone answer 100%?

the reason i ask is i want to play single player games from backups on my main account so i get the acheivements, although they will be played from the backup xbox.

when it comes to playing on live i will always play on my master xbox with original games.

its saves renting the games out to see if i like them before wasting £35.

thanks alot.

thats a good question, i dont believe it has been asked more than 100 times.
why dont you search for your answer.

look here i did a quick search and look at what i found

seems like people would look for a answer before they ask.

I have lost all and any respect i had for this site!

Why not just play backups on your "master", and if it does get banned, then just make your backup the new "master", and use the banned console as the backups only console like you do now!

xbox 360 flashing "enthusiast".

Lol, maybe his master is an elite, why would he risk getting his main/better console banned when he can just risk getting his backup/cheaper one banned.

If he's that bothered, if it gets banned swap the case! and take the hard drive with it since the console gets banned and not the profile!!

Practially the same inside anyway!

That would only make sense if the backup is a pre-hdmi console. Any other consoles are technically identical, there are only a few different cases (Halo edition, black elite...).

Xbox 360: Slim untouched with a faked 320 GB harddrive for XBL, phat with LT 3.0, played Halo early, so going on live would be an instand ban, also with a faked 320 GB harddrive
PS3: Untouched 160 GB Slim, 60 GB Fat with latest Rogero and 160 GB internal harddrive.
PSVita: hardly ever play it
GameCube: Black with a Viper chip installed. With gameboy player. Trying to get a Wavebird controller.

Yes but still he says he doesn't want to get his main console banned, not he wants to get his main console banned and his backup one not. Maybe he got his backup with rrod and then he fixed it, maybe his main console is a jasper and his backup is a falcon, maybe his backup is a core with less fans.

If he's that bothered? It would take more work to flash another console, and if it does get banned having to swap cases... wouldn't it be easier just to play online with his pre-flashed console???
