I bought a modded xbox360 2 months ago, and I ran into a problem today.
I put a backup of Bionic Commando in and the Xbox360 recognized the disk as a mixed mode when it loaded. Pressing "A" did nothing.

I assume I need to upgrade the MOD software but do not know which one is installed.

My question is how can I check which MOD software is loaded on my XBOX360?

youve pretty much checked it the easiest way- try a wave 3 game (bionic commando) and see if it plays. sounds like you have a fw less than 1.51

You will need to dump the firmware to find out. You need a compatible S-ATA chipset to dump the firmware.

I may just forget that game for now and continue my others.

Well, I have firmware that is outdated.- Thanks Uturn68!
That is all I needed to know. In the future I will have someone update it for me. Maybe I will try it myself. I noticed some simplified USB installs of Iextreme 1.6
