Can anyone tell me whats going wrong ? Im trying to flash my lite-on drive. I am using a usb xtractor and a xbox 360 power dongle I just recived in the mail. When i put the xtraxtor in the hole on the drive the light turns blue and i press get key on jungleflasher but i get the bad serial data message.

No dice....I just installed the diver again and still serial data bad message...one more thing i cant figure out is why the power dongle will not eject the drive when i push the button i get some movement but it will not fully eject..thx for any help and the first response...

You need the drive in half way mode. Eject tray, then hit eject again, when it's going in shut the xtract off and then back on. This is the method for the lite-on drives. If you can't get it to eject, that's your problem and the error you will recieve. Pull on the try while ejecting to see if it releases.

also, you can manually eject the drive. theres pictures how to do that in the JF guide. and also, your bad serial data could be because JF is looking at the wrong com port. in the drop down box, make sure the correct one is selected. when i used USB it was com3. for you it could be different, but under it it will either say serial cable/data or USB cable.

check device manager to see what com port should be selected.
