Hello,

Firstly, I'd like to say I'm kinda new here so sorry if I've posted this in the wrong area, or duplicated or whatever.

Basically, I have a Starview 3, The Box Super and all my Sky channels and Setanta channels, bar Setanta Sports News and Sky Sports News aren't working for me as it says "Scrambled or bad channel"

It's been like this for about 2 months now unfortunatly. I know I had the box "Flashed" when I first got it and it was great.

What do I do now, and how can I get back my channles like SkySports 1?

I'm living in the South of Dublin and running on NTL.

Would be grateful for any help

People seem to think that it's highly unlikely to get a fix, so that leaves you with a few options.

1. Get nothing and wait and see what happens.

2. Order a kryptview which is out of stock until probably the end of june.

3. Get an Itgate which as far as i know, are in stock with their uk suppliers.

Both the kryptview and Itgate boxes are working on all channels at the moment on n2, however as i have said before, this doesn't mean either of them will continue to work, as n3 could be rolled out soon.

if you are not in IRELAND, you dont need too use the new firmware, as the old works just fine in the UK

the only thing you have too do is , AUTOMATIC SCAN, the channels that dont work , will come back on,

as i am still using the old firmware on the starview 4 & starview 1 receivers

I have two of em and would really like to get fixed if possible of course, I can do fix myself no probs I just can't seem to find one? Any help on this would be fab, as been too long without my movies and HIS sport so time to buy again if need be!!! (Ps in Galway)

Its doubtful that a fix will come out for the SV1/2/3 for NTL Ireland.
Your box will however work on Ch0rus cable Ireland and also in the UK so you might want to try sell it rather than bin it
