About a year ago I installed CFW 3.71-M33 on my PSP-2000 to play my old PS1 games on my PSP. Now there is a bunch of stuff like demos and games that I want to get from the Playstation store but from what I can tell, you have to download the new Media Go software and upgrade to OFW 5.50.
Just wanted to know if anyone w/ CFW has any experience with the new Playstaion store and if once I download what i want, can I use my Pandora battery to get back to CFW and will the demos and games still work. Thanks for the help!

Just use CUSTOM firmware 5.00m33 or 5.02/3GEN-A and the store will work without updating. Those firmware versions do not give your firmware version to Sony.

on my psp 100x running 5.00m33-6 been o there registered and downloaded stuff no probs, hope this helps

On my psp 2000 with 5.00 m33-6 I can download stuff (I've only tried demo's) but none of it will work.
It shows up and all like normal, but when I go to run it I see the psp logo then an error code. This is with all demo's I've tried

You have to disable the use of game plugins(the entire thing) for the demos to work. To do this go to Recovery menu>Advanced>Advanced Configuration then go down to GAME plugins and set that to disabled.

Thank You, I will do that. Now I have to download some demo's because I just deleted them when they would't work!
But my real problem is trying to fix my online multiplayer. My psp connects to the access point fine, it's just that when I go to any game lobby (all games) there always is a connection error. Will this also fix this for playing ISO's online?

No,this did not fix the online multiplayer thing. I just need to keep looking for answers. And I seems that I'm the only one with this problem.
I'm using the exact same router I was before I installed CFW. Before that online games worked fine.
Now my psp internet browser don't even work. I figure if I can get that working my games should work too.
Oh, and the psp does connect to the access point it's just that it always disconnects right before I go into any game lobby

Alright CFW gurus. How are you doing this morning. I have an issue with my cfw right now. Im currently on 5.00 M33-4 and Im trying to get into the playstation store to dl some themes but it keeps givin me a message about needing to do a software update. Y would I need to if this cfw can go to the store with no problem? Please help and thanx in advanced.

Because you cannot go into the store with 5.00m33
Believe 5.50 Gen A or B are the only ones that can, update at the store and you will have to re pandora to get CFW back

You need to upgrade to at least 5.50 GEN-A if you want to access the PSN. Earlier CFW versions such as yours are blocked by Sony.

After reading this thread I successfully got my PSN games to work ( disabling game plugins) but I cannot log into the store. I am using 5.50 GEN D2, and it says here that Gen A worked, did sony ban all custom firmwares or do I need to change soemthing
