no it is not a box for sat as i said.
channel movement causes loss of channels thats all no need to keep flashing boxes.

look in through vents for a heatsink on chip if you see one it is a clone and it will not work in irl on n*l

Hi, Noob here
Can some confirm these instructions are correct? and also is the TheboxSuperUSB_BETA the latest flash bin file? Instructions below
Instructions for Starview 4
Attach Scart and Cable from wall into box ( Dont use any Splitters )
Turn Box on without USB inserted into the box
Menu > Factory reset - pin is 0000 (wait for it to reboot)
Turn off box at the switch on the box after factory reset is done
Insert USB, Switch the box back on
Then press the menu button on the remote there you will see USB at the bottom of the screen.
Just highlight USB with the remote then you will see the (Box Super USB Bin file) appear on the screen.
Highlight the Box Super USB Bin File with the remote and press the ok button then you will see the file start loading in to the Box.
Do not touch the remote or the box for at least 30 seconds after the box has REBOOTED other wise you will end up with a dead box displaying 8882 on the display.
After you have uploaded the software from your memory stick, turn power off at the switch on the box and then remove memory stick then follow below :
? Turn on the box, press Menu > Factory reset - pin is 0000
? After the box reboots, press menu and go to installation,
? Select correct provider i.e. N**, C/W or TW ch***s
? Then automatic scan
? Once the channels are found, exit back to the blank screen
? Press menu (ignore what is on the screen) and press 1 5 7 0, this takes you to a secret menu,
. press the set default key ok, then
? Go down to Key CODE and turn it on.
? Now exit and wait for it to store all the data. (should update and ready to go!)

yes but part ive embolden you can do after you scan in channels and all is done.

hi can any one help me i have just got super box usb today
when i turned it on there was a lot of channels missing
when i press menu 1570 nothing happens i have living plus gold plus
comedy plus please help me i am in dublin

when changing channels invalid box is coming up channels ok but why does this happened have it two weeks and been working fine can you please tell me whats wrong

Do not turn the power off on the box or it will die. You can put it in standby.

Quick quetion lads, got a few 4 s ther now and when i scanned , the channels were not in ntl order can some one explain why, and how to fix if possible ,its just every other 4 i got was in order cheers

its a long story about fergus basically he got banned then came back under an alies, got banned again and im sure he is under another alies now, and celtic still pops in now and again but cant shed much light on that

You are quite correct, it will on V109 in the uk, it will not on the V110 in Ireland, new firmware required for it

Hi all i have used the above instructions to fix my starview 4, thanks very much, but I am still missing a few channels such as more 4, bbc3, bbc4 and the music channels is there any way i can get these?
