Hey guys since I'm on a roll I'd thought I would run this past ya because I'm confused. When I go to make a DVD disk using Nero Recode it asks for a plug-in? Now that I notice alot of the features in the NeroVision pertaining to DVD ask for this plug-in What plugin? Nero site says it was supplied in retail&web version and I got a full version here. I'm lost on this one any info anyone? Thanks....

Wow, CCambell being a "newbie" like you that seems a little over my head. I don't get it, I spent all that $$$ for the program and it ain't there. So I found it quicker to verify the exact file I was missing which was a *.dll find it else were.... locate it in its appropriate folder and "presto" all those windows pop up and all the other options I was missing are here. This NeroRecode looks pretty cool now that I access it.

how did you get it to verify the missing file?.....what did you do to rectify the problem?..i have the same problem but i'm a bit lost in what to do!!!.
I was going on the assumption that the file failed to install, and the process I provided would just have helped to ensure a complete and succesful installation of all Nero Components.
It didn't verify that the file was missing. What I did was use a friend of mine that has the same program but his works. I went through each file to see which ones were missing and thats how I knew they weren't there. I guess as stated before it was a install error (I'd don't know)which is kinda wierd I installed & unistalled a couple times and the same result???? Well all is well here.
MrRod if ya don't have another to cheat from like I did I don't know what to tell ya I guess I got lucky. Maybe a fresh install or what CCampbell suggested may help. I'm not a computer person actually I'm computer illiterate. Sorry guy I guess I got luck.
Hi guys, There was some problems in the early releases of Nero 6 causing the problems you are having. As stated before, download the latest version of Nero and do a clean reinstall. That should correct the plug-in problem if you have a legal serial.
