I have psp 2000 slim and i guess i have TA88v-3 cos i canot pandorize my battery, so i was wondering what is this homebrew good for? can you play backups (iso) as any other motherboard?

ChickHEN can not play ISO/PSX games, but you can use ChickHEN to install any other custom firmware that can. I reccommend M33.

If i try to install M33 wouldn't i Brick my psp? i guess installing 5.03 Gen-A is the right choice, right? i mean i'm new with ChickHen and elses, let me explain, after installing chickhen r2 in so many tries and so many reading i finally got it working after that i installed 5.03 Gen-A and flashed my psp, now i got everything working but the only problem is that my psp wont read eny *.iso game as my old phat psp used to, they are located in the same folder, ms0:/ISO/game.iso but not luck, any ideas?

I just installed CFE 3.01 and it is working all fine now.

Yes if you have a TA-088v3 then use ChickHEN to install 5.03 GEN-A for HEN, which will allow you to do all of the things custom firmware can do.
