its looks like they copped the box usb, for I know of at least two that went the way of invalid, then went blank in the way described.

Right, I have not the usb version, yet am trying the hard to help with boxes I know have got problems over the last few days here in the south of Ire,, I've READ(that is I think) all the treads. Will you take me through the exact process.

What do you mean?? If you haven't got a starview 4 usb, kryptview or itgate why do you want to know how to update something you haven't got??

Got a digivox thats works fine, others around me got the starview usb, its like as said, all I'm doing is checking and rechecking info to get these boxes receiving again.

unless ur box is one of the three that has a fix u will not get ur channels back in irl on n*l sorry.

Yes, but you said if a process is followed anyone that get's an invalid box on the screen of a starview 4 usb, can resolve it to get back the channels and I and I guess lots of others would be grateful for you to post the process.

Right, this has nothing to do with 8882. Boxes got "invalid box" appearing on there screens down here and then when switched off and back on there's absolutely nothing. I've been responding an experience that related to whats been posted. Please reread the tread, you had the hopes up.

is it a channel that gives u that message? uk have same thing just ignore or delete that channel.

Its more than just a delete, for all goes blank once its switched off and back on again. A few boxes down south ire way have reported the same problem. Maybe paranoid, for it seems like they can see (not the address) the box

It may be to do with the recent firmware update. Has anyone experienced this on an earlier firmware?

just to clarify it is a sv4 with latest fix on it yes,there was a factory reset done first,then reflashed,rescanned ,set default key and keycode to on ,and exit out yes?

yes, to the letter, worked for a few days, then problem, rest to factory proceeder, result... no difference.

Total agreement Mooley, For sure its one way, its that somethings not right, its got to be the fix, hoping to get more reports of this disturbance to see if it covers other areas, like anyone out there got the starview 4 usb around the Ireland can report similar.

I'm thinking, tomorrow the treads will be packed with the sameo sameo.
Yes, reflashed and still blank. Tell you what, I'll sleep nicely tonight knowing I ain't a dealer, god cherish them, for the walls seem to be crumbling.

maybe try an older v109 version on it do a factory reset first,flash,and scan and keycode to on,if that works we will know then.

if so factory reset first,i might even try a new file download having deleted old one off pc first.also remember the usb stick rule.
