Is the center light on the 360 ring constantly blinking?

Also check the drive and make sure no ribbon cables got bumped and came loose.

You go from "tried to make a cable" to "drive will not open".

???

How can you expect anyone to even begin to help you if you don't give any details as to how you went about flashing?

Ok sorry was upset when I first posted thread. I used a tutorial of how to make a probe to extract key from lite on drive. Then I used the pen spring probe to try to extract original key. It said attempt failed and i tried it again but this time the drive will not respond to anything. And yes green center light on console is constantly blinking.

Constantly blinking has something to do with the console not detecting the drive. Are you sure you didn't plug the power cable upside down?

But when you went to probe the drive, did you plug it in upside down. It sounds to me that the drive has been fried some how. If the voltages were wrong on your probe you could have fried something on the drive.

It is missing serial data which is an easy fix. You will need to open up the original Lite-ON drive and read some labels off of it and input it into Jungle Flasher or a program called DSDBfixer.exe.

I think you got the wrong information from some other drive. The XBOX 360 Lite-ON is PLDS DG-16D2S.

Well if you can't get the drive to be detected, you won't be able to get the key. You didn't happen to send the Lite-ON erase command did you?

If you did Lite-ON erase before retrieving the key, there is no fixing your problem.
