Getting iXtreme updated. 1.51 or 1.6?

Hey guys.

I have a 360 w/ a Sammy drive and 1.4 iXtreme.

I'm going tomorrow to get the firmware updated so I can finally play wave3 games (I play online with this 360)

My question for you guys is which firmware should I get?
1.51 or 1.6?

I know they can both play wave3 games but I don't know if one is better than the other.

Get 1.6. It's better, cause it has more security, and it's the latest version of the Firmware.

Just got back and got 1.6.

Although he reccomended 1.51 because he said that 1.6 still has some bugs, I went with 1.6 because a lot of people told me to.

I'm pretty sure it took so long to release 1.6 because they worked out all the bugs.

Did he specify what the supposed bugs were?

Nope he didn't say what the bugs were.

He prob. is an idiot. He prob. wanted me to get 1.51 so that when I want 1.6 it'll cost $20 to update, lol.

Yup that's probably what he wanted you to do! It's just more logical to go with the latest anyway, cause it will have better support then 1.51. And he says bugs, I say moron!

I don't understand why these types of questions are asked. Why wouldn't you go to the updated version? QA is done on it for a reason before its release.

Ya I agree with ya guessswho, but I guess some people don't know about that stuff... And I don't understand why someone would want to get an older firmware over a new one...

??? Ban bug? You can get banned on any version of firmware. Just don't be a moron and play games before they are released (even though alot do) and run through ABGX. Even then, still a chance. Doesn't matter if you are running 2.0 firmware LOL
