Hard drive recognizing usb loader and what not

I looked at the wiki compatible hard drive list for the usb loader,but I couldn't locate these specific ones.
It is an 1 1/2 year old model Mybook Essential 80GB.

1)Will any of these hard drives be recognized by the usb loader?

Concerning usb loader and game ISO's:

2)Do we have to patch game ISO's with RegionFrii or WiiBlocker before transfer over to the hard drive when using USB loader?

3)Is it true that the usb loader is region free and removes out of region game updates or is it the WBFS Manager that does that?

4)Which usb loader has the ability to set language and video patches?Is it the usb loader GX?

5)Which is the best cIOS and usb loader combination,in your opinion,for out of region games?

I see the Passport in the compatibility list.
I don't know if the External in your Ebay link is the series II that is in the compatibility list.

Looks like the Passport doesn't work.
I know that my passport essentials works.

You don't have to patch a game to use it with USB loader and it skips updates.
