Hey guys!! Well with messing with my new rocketfish external enclosure i found out alot of new things. For 1, i finally found out how to use my 120gb Maxtor HDD i was saving for it. For 2, i found out that it works on GeeXboX. I already took the necessary steps to add it to the compatibility list for GeeXbox. My only questions is, why in the hell did it take like 3 minutes just to start up the movie? (By the way my first and only movie i tried is The Cell lol). Secondly, i wonder why it doesnt read on MPlayer CE but it works on GeeXboX.

(Edit) By the way my HDD format is, NTFS.

how high the bit rate of your movie? maybe high def? I have DIVX and running on SMB there not much delay on Mplayer.. 3 minutes??? that too long..try formating to fat32 for mplayer.

Not sure, but its pretty much a standard normal quality movie...Every time i try to format it to Fat32 it stays on 40 percent using my EASEUS Partition Master application and i dont even have a choice to change it to fat32 using windows.
