I am modding someone's just purchased Wii tomorrow afternoon. The guy is planning to get Rock Band: Beatles when its released and asked if the instruments would work if I softmodded it and I couldn't give him a straight answer as I've heard there were problems before. I'm going to put rev 13b on it. Do the instruments work?

Just to clarify. The retail RB disk will work with a moded wii as it normally would. It currently will not work with a backup copy of RB with out a lot of trial and error. People have suggested using rev12 but I have been unable to get it to work. Hopefully by the time RB Beattles comes out this will be resolved.

not sure if you need to take a look on the serial# also, some toot say it works some don't on Lu64 or above. As far as rev13b many user already confirmed that it fixed the problem on mic (animal crossing) and instrument.
